Why "To Be My Beloved"

The definitions that I found on beloved are:

1) Dearly Loved
2) A Much Loved Person

I absolutely love the idea, the vision, of my Savior holding me in His arms whispering the verse to me, "I am my beloved and my beloved is mine" referenced from Song of Solomon. It is one of my most treasured sentences from the bible, written several times from the stand point of two lovers.  For me, there is no relationship more beautiful, pure, intimate, and driven, than the relationship I share with Jesus.  Through every circumstance, whether through joy or pain, I've grasped onto the knowledge that Jesus runs after me, never forsakes me, and takes me just as I am (the way most woman I know crave to be loved).  With that reality, I am beginning to see the world a lot differently.  And I want to start LIVING, really LIVING, instead of just drifting from day to day.

I dearly love and care about many things that I don't necessarily pursue, or work at perfecting.  I am hoping to bring those things to light and seriously work on them during this "journey" that I am on.  This journey called life.  My journey to become a better wife, a better teacher, a healthier woman, and eventually a mom.  So, there you go!  That's why "To Be My Beloved".  Because I'm His beloved...  And my Jesus, my husband, my students, and my health are some of Mine...
